According to an announcement by the German biotechnology company, Novartis plans to produce 50 million doses of the vaccine “by the end of 2021” and 200 million doses in 2022 if European regulators approve it. The European Medicines Agency is currently evaluating the CureVac candidate vaccine, which is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials.
A few weeks ago, CureVac (CVAC) announced a partnership agreement with Bayer Pharmaceutical Group. This partnership will support the company’s vaccine production since the lack of vaccines worldwide poses a significant obstacle to fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
